January and February historically have received the maximum rainfall and during the period from November to April Peru witnesses rain. Amazon also receives rain between November and March but this shouldn’t dissuade you because it does not rain all day, it rains for few hours and during this period one can expect more lush green flora and ample fauna. Though the coastal areas are perfect to visit throughout the year December to April is considered the best time to visit.
