On reaching Kathmandu International Airport received by our staff and guide with a warm welcome. The guide will be brief with full information about the trek.

Today we must drive to Machha Khola through the Arughat and Soti Khola. It takes a 9-hour drive and offers various scenarios of villages, hills, rice farms landscapes, and rivers. The Machh Khola lies in the Gorkha district of Mid-West Nepal. The drive leads to warmer areas passing many farm villages and towns following the Trisuli River and Budi Gandakii River too. Overnight at a local guest house with a beautiful valley.

After an overnight at Macha, Khola morning leads Buri Gandaki River upstream, to reach Khorla Beshi a small farm village. The ways go on a pleasant winding path to reach Tatopani “Hot Spring,” here with a wonderful opportunity for hot bathing time permitting. After a nice break with a rest walk, carry on to Yaruphant, following the river to reach Jagat village. After then crossing a short suspension bridge, this is a moderately sized farm village with shops and stores.

From Jagat, the journey continues higher encountering many small farm villages of Sidibas Bazaar, which is a pretty village, after rest then a short climb with a downhill crossing over the suspension bridge to reach Nagjet, then climb up to Philim, a large village with scattered farmhouses, from Philim trek onwards through farm terraces of golden fields of wheat’s and barley, then a climb on rocky ridge top into bamboo forest area to our an overnight stop at Dyang village.

From Deng, pass by the beautiful forest and numerous Tibetan mani walls. (intricately hand-carved stone walls with Buddhist scriptures), weaving in and out of canyons. The trail is mostly gradual up and walks into the open valley. Enter into a colorful forest of firs, oaks, and rhododendrons before arriving in the settlement of Namrung for an overnight stay.

After Lo Goan, feel the altitude gain with a much cooler temperature. The trail goes where tree lines fade for a few short juniper bushes and willow trees, walking gradually on a nice trail with views of snow-capped peaks. Finally reaching Samagaon a large mountain village located on the route Manaslu base camp and Larkya-la pass including the way to the Tibet border.

This an important rest or free day for good acclimatization before heading to high areas and the Larkya-La pass, on this free day explore the villages with a short hike around. Today you have an optional choice to hike to Birendra Lake or the Tibet border. You will extremely soak into the hidden nature of the Manaslu region.

Today walk for about 4/5 hours, heading towards the last village at Samdo which is close to the Tibet border. The Samdo village is the largest beautiful and highest village before Lakrya La Pass. Where you can explore the local culture, traditions, customs, and monastery with a mesmerizing scenario of the Manaslu Himalayas. This village has combined the Tibet border where you can find many Chinese goods.

A short day to Larkya Phedi or Dharmasala, after a nice stop at Samdo village, crossing an icy stream then heading towards a drier barren area, the trek today is not that hard except for rapid altitude gain and then with few short ups and downs to complete the morning walk at Larkya Phedi, meaning the base of the hill or pass, afternoon free at leisure for a short hike.

Starting early morning to reach the top of Larkya-La pass at 5,135 m, a strenuous and long climb overlooking awesome scenery of surrounding hills and valley with Mt. Manaslu, Larkya Peak, Bouddha Himal, Himalchuli, and Peak 29, after a steep climb reaching the top of the pass, festooned with Buddhist prayer flags and stunning views, after a rest enjoying the scenery, along descend reaching the forested area to Bimthang for overnight stop after a hard day walk.

After a tough walk on the Larkya-La pass, today will be a pleasant walk on the gradual downhill to reach our overnight stop at Gho. The place is located in forest surroundings, The walk enters through pristine woodlands full of rhododendrons, pines, and oaks tree lines passing several farm shades to reach Gho.

From Gho morning walk is much easier on the downhill path most of the way to the Manang area at Telje village by the Marysangdi River. Dharapani is a large village with many fine lodges on the Annapurna Circuit trekking trail. The Manaslu circuit trekking trail combines the world-popular Annapurna circuit trail. If you have ample time you can towards the Annapurna circuit after completing the Larkya La pass. Dharapani is one of the most beautiful villages and where you will have to spend the last day in the mountains.

After having breakfast we will head to Besisahar and it takes 2/3 hours to get to Besisahar. After that, we will drive back to Kathmandu, and approximately 6-7 hours to get to Kathmandu. Our memorable adventure will be terminated in Kathmandu.
